Survey: Shape the Future of Futsal in New Zealand

Published

on

New Zealand Football, in partnership with Sport New Zealand, invites players, coaches, and parents across Aotearoa to share their experiences in the 2024 Voice of the Participant (VOP) Survey. This annual survey, conducted by InMoment, has provided valuable insights for New Zealand Football since 2015, helping to guide futsal development and enrich the sport’s future.

Ronan Naicker, Futsal Development Manager, encourages everyone in the futsal community to take part, saying, “A strong response will give New Zealand Football, along with our federations and futsal centres, a greater understanding of how we can enhance the experience for all participants.”

Why Your Voice Matters

The VOP Survey serves as a critical tool for understanding the strengths, challenges, and motivations within New Zealand’s futsal community. Insights gathered help New Zealand Football prioritize short-term development goals and set impactful, longer-term initiatives. The survey covers everything from players’ experiences at futsal centres to the accessibility and quality of facilities across the country.

Survey Details and Rewards

The 2024 VOP Survey is open until 10 December and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. All team coordinators and registered members have received participation details, but the survey link is also available here.

Participants are eligible for a range of prizes, including:

Individual respondents: 10 x $50 Rebel Sport gift vouchers

Schools: One entry per five responses for a chance to win one of two futsal prize packs, including futsal balls and equipment

Community teams: Teams with over three responses entered to win one of two $500 entry fee reductions for their next futsal competition

Your input can make a meaningful difference in enhancing futsal programs across Aotearoa, ensuring future players, parents, and coaches have access to the best resources and experiences.
