Community Clubs Rally Around Western United’s ‘We Are West’ Program”
Western United’s ‘We Are West’ program, launched in August, is steadily uniting Victoria’s western clubs in support of the Green and Black family, drawing in 90 clubs and hundreds of new members to the Western United fanbase. The initiative, designed to build and reward community loyalty, has quickly garnered an enthusiastic following as clubs work toward an array of exclusive rewards for their support.
Point Cook and Melton Phoenix Set Membership Milestones
Point Cook Soccer Club and Melton Phoenix have charged to the front, becoming the first two clubs to secure 20 memberships each. Both now have access to exclusive rewards, such as visits from Western United coaches and content creators for specialized education sessions, providing invaluable mentorship and support.
With competition heating up, the program will soon unveil additional incentives for the first club to reach the 30-membership milestone, creating a high-stakes race among participating clubs.
Truganina Lions and North Geelong Warriors Reach First Reward Level
Among other standout clubs, Truganina Lions and North Geelong Warriors have crossed the 10-member threshold, unlocking the option to choose between a curated gift hamper, a tour of Ironbark Fields, or a signed Western United jersey.
Close on their heels, Hoppers Crossing Soccer Club sits just three memberships shy of hitting the 20-member target, while other clubs, including Williams Landing, Footscray Rangers, Maribyrnong Swifts, and Sunshine Heights JSC, are fast approaching the 10-member mark.
A Season of Firsts for Western United at Ironbark Fields
Western United’s 2024/25 season at Ironbark Fields is well underway, marking a season of growth and historic moments. The club has already welcomed fans to three A-League Men’s matches at Ironbark Fields, including a record-setting attendance and a thrilling season kickoff for the Ninja A-League Women’s team.
Fans looking to support Western United can join with memberships starting at $75 for a full season child pass, or as low as $23 for a three-game package. New members can also nominate their junior club, directly contributing to the community’s push to “Win for the West” as they cheer on Western United and help grow the game of football in Victoria’s west.
