FIFA Club World Cup 2025: A Game-Changer for Global Club Football

The upcoming FIFA Club World Cup 2025™, set to redefine international club football, will feature a USD 1 billion prize pool. Participating clubs will receive direct financial benefits, while a solidarity mechanism will ensure additional funding reaches clubs worldwide.

“The FIFA Club World Cup will not only be the pinnacle of club football but also a powerful symbol of solidarity that benefits clubs at all levels,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino. “FIFA will not retain any revenue from the tournament, with all funds directed back to participating clubs and global football development.”

Additionally, FIFA has pledged a record USD 2.3 billion investment in the FIFA Forward Programme for 2023-2026, bringing total football development funding to USD 5.1 billion since 2016.
