The Newcastle Jets will celebrate and honour the bravery and dedication of first responders during their Isuzu UTE A-League match against Auckland FC this Sunday at McDonald Jones Stadium, with kickoff set for 5 PM.

A Salute to Local Heroes

Recognising the tireless efforts of police officers, firefighters, SES responders, and ambulance personnel, the Jets are showing appreciation by offering two free General Admission tickets to all first responders who present valid identification at the match.

Emergency Services on Display

As part of the tribute, the stadium precinct will be transformed into a hub of emergency service activity, featuring vehicles and equipment from:

  • NSW Rural Fire Brigade
  • NSW Police
  • NSW Fire and Rescue
  • NSW Ambulance Service
  • State Emergency Service (SES)
  • Westpac Rescue Helicopter

Fans will have the unique opportunity to interact with emergency service personnel and explore the lifesaving equipment used by these dedicated professionals. The event offers a moment to express gratitude to those who run towards danger to keep the community safe.

With a high-stakes A-League clash on the pitch and a heartfelt tribute off it, Sunday promises to be a memorable evening at McDonald Jones Stadium.
