New Zealand Football and PUMA have unveiled a special limited-release All Whites fan shirt, inspired by the iconic 1982 jersey worn during Aotearoa New Zealand’s first-ever FIFA World Cup qualification. The shirt is now available for online purchase via the New Zealand Football store and will also be on sale at the FIFA World Cup 2026 – Oceania Qualifiers.

The new design pays homage to history while offering a fresh modern touch. The white version features a subtle pinstripe with black detailing on the collar, sleeves, and cuffs. Meanwhile, the black version inverts these colors, presenting a sleek alternative for fans.

A Tribute to History, A Step Toward the Future

James Wear, General Manager of Brand and Partnerships at New Zealand Football, expressed his enthusiasm for this unique collaboration:

“We are excited to launch this new limited release between New Zealand Football and PUMA—the first time we’ve produced a fan shirt like this. This design honors an iconic era for the All Whites as they prepare for what could be another historic moment this month.”

He urged fans to act quickly, as availability is limited:

“We can’t wait to see our supporters proudly wearing this shirt, but they’ll need to move fast—only a limited number are up for grabs!”

Daniel Pustina, Oceania General Manager at PUMA, emphasized the significance of this partnership:

“This collaboration celebrates the legacy of the 1982 World Cup qualification while looking forward to the team’s journey in the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 – Oceania Qualifiers. It’s a great way for fans to show their support as New Zealand chases a return to the World Cup after 16 years.”

Available Just in Time for Crucial Qualifiers

The limited edition All Whites fan shirt will be available for purchase this Friday at Sky Stadium in Wellington when Aotearoa New Zealand faces Fiji in the semi-final of the FIFA World Cup 2026 – Oceania Qualifiers.

The winner of the match will advance to the final on 24 March 2025 at Eden Park in Auckland, where they will take on the victor of the New Caledonia vs. Tahiti clash. A victory for the All Whites would secure their place at the FIFA World Cup 2026—marking the nation’s first appearance at the tournament in 16 years.

With excitement building, this limited-release shirt serves as a symbolic link between past and present, inspiring fans to rally behind the All Whites on their path to potential World Cup glory.
