Adelaide United has officially announced that club captain Ryan Kitto has signed a two-year contract extension, securing his future with the Reds until the end of the 2026/27 Isuzu UTE A-League season. The deal also includes an option for a third year, underlining Kitto’s long-term importance to the club.
The 30-year-old South Australian defender, who joined Adelaide United from Newcastle Jets in 2016, has firmly established himself as a stalwart of the club. Since his return, Kitto has made 214 appearances and netted 18 goals, becoming a cornerstone both on and off the pitch. Appointed captain ahead of the 2023/24 season, Kitto has continued to lead with determination and pride, embodying Adelaide United’s core values.
