Fiji is poised to be a major player on the OFC Competitions stage in 2025, hosting two prestigious tournaments. The OFC Executive Committee officially confirmed the calendar for the year during their meeting in Auckland, New Zealand, on 25 September 2024.

Among the highlights, Fiji will host the OFC Men’s Champions League 2025, scheduled from late March to mid-April (exact dates to be confirmed). Additionally, the OFC Women’s Nations Cup 2025 will take place in Fiji in July, marking another high-profile tournament for the island nation.

Meanwhile, Tahiti will welcome the OFC Women’s Champions League for the first time in May, followed by the OFC U-19 Women’s Championship in late September and early October in Papeete.

Tonga will also be in the spotlight as the Kingdom plays host to two significant events: the OFC U-19 Women’s Championship Qualifiers and the OFC U-16 Men’s Championship Qualifiers.

As previously confirmed, New Zealand will host the decisive final matchdays of the FIFA World Cup 26™ Oceania Qualifiers in March 2025. These crucial matches will determine which team from Oceania secures a spot in the 2026 World Cup to be held across Canada, Mexico, and the USA, with another team set for the FIFA Intercontinental Playoff.

For the first time since 2016, the Cook Islands will return as a host for several OFC tournaments, including the OFC Men’s Champions League Qualifiers in February, and the OFC U-16 Women’s Championship Qualifiers from April to May. They will also host Match Days 1 and 2 of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ Oceania Qualifiers in November and December.

Finally, the much-anticipated OFC Professional League will make its debut in 2026, with a launch tournament set for October 2025.

Other key events on the 2025 calendar include the OFC Men’s and Women’s U-16 Championships (Samoa and Solomon Islands, respectively), and the OFC Men’s Futsal Cup and Futsal Champions League, which will take place in Solomon Islands and Fiji.
