Central Coast Mariners, Adelaide United Ready for Ninja A-League 2025 Semi-Final Battles

After a thrilling weekend of Elimination Finals, the stage is officially set for the Semi-Finals of the Ninja A-League 2025 Finals Series.

The first leg kicks off Saturday, May 3, with Central Coast Mariners hosting undefeated Premiers Melbourne City at Industree Group Stadium. The Mariners advanced after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Canberra United on Monday night, but now face a formidable opponent in City, who breezed directly into the Semi-Final stage thanks to an ‘invincible’ unbeaten regular season.

Sunday, May 4, brings another highly anticipated clash as Adelaide United hosts Melbourne Victory at Coopers Stadium. Adelaide secured their Semi-Final berth with a narrow 1-0 win over Western United in the Elimination Final. Victory, who finished second in the regular season standings, will relish the chance to renew hostilities in one of Australian football’s most storied rivalries—the Original Rivalry.

Both Melbourne City and Melbourne Victory will host the return legs at home over the weekend of May 10-11. However, final details, including venues and kick-off times for those matches, will be confirmed after this weekend due to scheduling considerations with the concurrent Isuzu UTE A-League Men Finals Series.

The winners of each two-legged Semi-Final will progress to the Ninja A-League Women 2025 Grand Final, scheduled for either May 17 or 18. The higher-ranked Semi-Final winner will earn the right to host the Grand Final.
